SunPower (Nasdaq:SPWR) named Lisa Bodensteiner, former First Solar (Nasdaq:FSLR) General Counsel and OptiSolar General Counsel, as its Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Bodensteiner also served as GC at Calpine.
Nanosolar, CIGS solar panel aspirant, added three new sales and marketing executives. Stephan Hansen, formerly of First Solar, is now executive vice president of Worldwide Sales. Roy Shaw, most recently with Jinko Solar, is now head of North America Sales. Stefan Zschiegner, formerly a VP at First Solar, is now VP of Worldwide Marketing at Nanosolar.
We've noticed a large number of senior Amonix employees showing up at other companies, including:
- Paul Russell, former SVP of engineering at Amonix, is now senior VP of engineering at ArrayPower, the solar distributed electronics firm.
- Geoffrey S. Kinsey, previously Senior Director of R&D at Amonix, is now at The Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems as the Director of its Photovoltaic Technologies Group.
Smart grid firm BPL Global named Craig Wellen as its new CFO.
