MIDLAND, Mich., July 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors today is happy to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas Elward as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Midland Cogeneration Venture (MCV), effective July 24th, 2018. As previously announced, Pete Milojevic will step down as CEO on July 23rd, 2018. Mr. Elward will continue in his role as Chairman of MCV.
The Board of Directors is continuing the search for a new CEO and the Board believes that Mr. Elward will ensure a smooth transition. Mr. Elward has extensive knowledge of MCV, given his career background and position as Chairman of the MCV board over the last five years. Mr. Elward is an executive with over 40 years of experience that includes 18 years in nuclear power, followed by 18 years of independent power and energy development, construction and operation.
He has previously served as Chairman of the Board of Dynegy, Inc. and as a Director and as the Chairman of the Special Committee of the Board of Federal Mogul Corp.
