Earlier this summer, Jon Wellinghoff, FERC's outgoing chairman, told Greentech Media he believes solar "is going to overtake everything."

If those comments aren't candid enough for you, come join Wellinghoff as he takes the stage with The Energy Gang at the Solar Focus 2013 conference for a wide-ranging discussion about the future of solar.

The Energy Gang podcast features conversation between GTM Senior Editor Stephen Lacey, 38 North Solutions founder Katherine Hamilton, and SunEdison Founder Jigar Shah. With special guests, the Gang debates hot topics in the week's news, such as Obama’s climate plan, the future of utilities, the state of the fracking industry, and the "next wave" of cleantech investing.

For the very first time, The Energy Gang will take the format live and debate at MDV-SEIA’s 7th annual Solar Focus Conference. In an engaging and fast-paced format, Stephen, Katherine, and Jigar will cap off day two of the event, discussing how solar on the East Coast really stacks up -- plus feature thoughts from special guest Jon Wellinghoff.

What is the future of distributed solar on the East Coast? How do our policies and incentive programs compare to those on the West Coast? The Energy Gang will attempt to answer those questions at their first live show.
