BrightSource Energy named David Ramm as CEO. Ramm was previously Executive Chairman and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Ramm is formerly the Managing Partner of Dymar Development, an energy development and consulting firm. Moving the Chairman to CEO and pivoting to industrial steam and EOR applications would not indicate progress for CSP at BSE.
Vivint Solar added Chris Lundell, most recently VP of worldwide sales at EveryoneSocial.com, as CMO. Jan Newman, founder of KeyLabs and Altiris, was named VP of business development. Paul Dickson, most recently VP of finance at Vivint Solar, was named VP of Operations.
George Blankenship, Tesla's VP of Worldwide Retail and a former VP at Apple, left the electric vehicle firm last month (see screenshot below), as reported in the San Jose Mercury News.
Roger G. Little, the founder of PV equipment builder Spire, is retiring as CEO at year's end. He will remain as chairman. Rodger W. LaFavre, formerly COO, has been appointed as CEO of the firm.

Proterra, a provider of zero-emission battery-electric buses and vehicles, added Dave Rich as CFO and Bill Fay as VP of sales. Dave Rich spent nineteen years at Ford Motor Company in the areas of corporate business development and capital investment. Bill Fay most recently worked for Clever Devices as VP and managing director.
Oxford Photovoltaics named Dr. David Fyfe as its new chairman. Fyfe joins the Oxford spin-out after a decade of helming Cambridge Display Technology.
Tim Woodward is no longer with Cleantech VC firm, Nth Power. According to his linked-in profile, Woodward is now Managing Director at Prelude Ventures.
